2008 County Show
The Newark and Nottinghamshire County Show is packed with new attractions for all the family.
A new Environmental Area, sponsored by the local Council will be packed full of topical information and will be divided into four zones - Earth, Wind, Fire and Water.
The new Food Hall has now expanded to such an extent that it now occupies the whole George Stephenson Hall and is packed full of taste and style.
New classes have also been added including Heavy Horse Obstacle Course and Coloured Horses.

Membership
Why not become a Member of The Newark & Nottinghamshire Agricultural Society and enjoy free admission to the annual County Show and the 4th Newark Vintage Tractor Show in November. On County Show days, you will also have access to an exclusive 'Members only' marquee, enclosure and bar, a forward parking area and exclusive access to Main Ring grandstands.

Sponsorship
Sponsorship is available in several areas of the Show; from main ring displays to sponsorship of a particular area, event or competition. Classes available include cattle, sheep, pigs, heavy horses, light horses, ponies, donkeys; show jumping; flower show, floral art and floristry; classic car, veteran & vintage vehicles; goats, angora fleece; bacon carcase competition; food hall and the countryside area.

The County Show is held early in the season on a flat, well drained site and attracts over 55,000 people annually. With over 30 roads, a perimeter fence and lights, free hot showers and overnight security, we offer superb facilities for our traders.
