Dog Agility
 

Have a go Dog Agility and Flyball is situated between Avenue M & N, and there are two course rings.

Come and have a go for fun or just cheer them on as they run, or attempt to, around the course.  We are sure you will see that there is plenty of enjoyment being had by the dogs and owners alike.

This is kindly run by the Trent Valley Dog Training who have training sessions at the Showground twice a week.  Registration is on the day.

Why not take the opportunity to leave your pet is safe hands to see some of our indoor displays and halls, by making use of the Dog Crèche.

You can find this next to the Mobility Hire by Red Gate.  This service is provided to help raise awareness and funds for the Radcliffe Animal Shelter which is an animal welfare and re-homing centre.  They take in unwanted, abandoned and abused animals, providing safe accommodation, care and veterinary treatment until they can be fount suitable new homes.

The centre has been running for over forty years and in that time they have helped thousands of animals and with the new rebuild underway they will continue to help many more with better facilities.

RSPCA Dog Competition
 

At 3pm on Saturday & Sunday at the Have a go dog agility & flyball area. All dogs can enter, any variety, pedigree and none pedigree. The classes are as follows:

1. Puppy (6-12 months)
2. Handled by a junior age up to 9 & owned by the junior/parents.
3. Handled by a child aged 9 to 18 years
4. Best bedding dog.
5. The waggiest tail.
6. The best condition.
7. The best six legs.
8. The judge would most like to take home.
9. Veteran over the age of 7 years.
10. Kindest eyes.

Entry fee: £1.00 per entry

Entries taken at the Radcliffe RSPCA Shelter Stand from 10.00am which is situated close to Red Gate Entrance and all proceeds go towards the shelter.

Prize Rosettes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd of each class plus goodie bag.
