Vintage Tractor Show Exhibitors
9th NEWARK VINTAGE TRACTOR & HERITAGE SHOW – 12/13 NOVEMBER 2011
The Newark Vintage Tractor & Heritage show has become ‘the end of season show to attend’ for exhibitors, traders and visitors. Part of the attraction of our show is that it is staged in our extensive suite of halls, including the George Stephenson Exhibition Hall, here at Newark Showground.
Each year we select a theme or anniversary and at this year’s show we will be celebrating John Deere and Lanz tractors which will be the centrepiece of the event. We are also pleased to confirm that Friends of Ferguson Heritage are continuing their sponsorship of a marquee dedicated to the Ferguson tractors.
The show offers a wide range of attractions, from the interspersed mix of trade stands and exhibits to craft stalls, and the Native and Rare Breed Exhibition. The Cedric Ford Pavilion is open to all for an evening of entertainment with a bar and a disco which will start at 9 pm. There is also a carvery available, consisting of a main dish and sweet. Tickets can be purchased prior to the show at a discounted price of £10 each; tickets for the Sunday Carvery are also available prior to the show at the discounted price of £10 each. On the Sunday there will be a special service, in the George Stephenson Exhibition Hall to commemorate Remembrance Sunday. The trophies will be presented after the service.
We also wish to build on the success of last year by continuing to expand the Landrover, Military Vehicles and Commercial sections to please pass the word on to newcomers to the show. Entry and camping space for one caravan/tent is free for exhibitors (2 adult and one camping pass per person entering). Full details can be found on your Rules & Regulations sheet enclosed.
Again this year, there will be an auction of tractors and parts (see enclosed entry form) held on the Saturday and the return of the hugely successful "Old Sodbury’s Sort Out" on Sunday.
