SORTOUT
The Sortout is for those collectors and restorers who have accumulated items that are too good to scrap but who will never get round to restoring or fitting them. By bringing these items to Sunday’s Sortout they can help another collector. One particular item could prove to be that vital missing part to complete a restoration or improve a collection!
The Sortout takes on the air of a treasure hunt as eager buyers delve deep to see what the Sellers have brought. Trading is done directly between the seller and buyer so questions can be asked by either party. No history needs to be lost as items change hands.
Often loads include mystery items. Even if the seller cannot perhaps identify an item a buyer might recognise its true significance. How sad would it have been if the vital item had been melted down as scrap instead?
Trading starts on Sunday 11th November at 9.30 a.m. in the Newark Ring with a pause for a minute’s silence at 11.00 a.m. for the Act of Remembrance.
